INVITATION - EBNER Trophy 2012
The EBNER Trophy 2006 on the subject of "China", 2007 on the subject of "USA & Austria" and 2008 premiering as an international competition with 572 submissions from 15 countries on the subject of "Metal Dreams" and 2009 with the theme "Growth – Miracle of Nature" were all huge successes. This year, the EBNER Trophy continues – again in the form of a photography competition.
Our theme for 2012 is: "Inspiring Workspace"

It is therefore fitting that the creative theme of the EBNER Trophy 2012 is "Inspiring Workspace". We invite you, your employees, your colleagues, your friends and anybody involved in photography professionally, artistically or recreationally to participate in the EBNER TROPHY 2012.
The 12 best entries voted by an independent specialist jury will be published in the third edition of "My brain book". Furthermore, entries will be selected to be displayed in an exhibition at the EBNER locations in Austria, USA, China and India. All entries selected for the exhibition will receive a certificate.
The following guidelines apply to the EBNER Trophy 2012:
1. COMPETITION RULES | LEGAL RIGHTS | COPYRIGHT
• Entry to the photo competition is free-of-charge.
• Each participant may submit a maximum of five photos in digital form on a CD/DVD or online at "ebnertrophy.ebner.cc".
• No dispute of any kind, legal or otherwise, will be entered into.
• By entering the competition, all participants acknowledge that the jury's decision is final.
• All participants must be the owners of the photos they submit (as per clause 10, paragraph 1 of Austrian copyright law) and guarantee that the photos are not the property of third parties; where necessary, people shown in a photo must have granted their permission for its publication.
By submitting photos, the participants agree to allow the organizer of the event to display, publish and reproduce the photos free of charge and non-commercially for the competition and exhibition.
Copyright is retained by the person submitting each entry.
2. PRIZES
• The 12 best entries will be published in the third edition of "My brain book".
• Everybody whose work is selected for the exhibition will receive a certificate.
3. HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES
• You can download the invitation and competition rules for the EBNER Trophy 2012 from ebnertrophy.ebner.cc/ebnertrophy.
• On submitting their entry participants confirm that they have read and fully accept the rules in points 1-6 without limitation.
• Your photos must be submitted by post on a CD/DVD (attn: EBNER Trophy 2012) or online at ebnertrophy.ebner.cc.
• Your entry must include:
• The completed application form
• Short curriculum vitae (your personal data will be treated confidentially and will not be forwarded to third parties)
• CD/DVD with the name of the applicant (max. 5 photos in digital form, highest possible resolution, *.tiff or *.jpg files)
• Files to be named as follows:
First name_Last name_Date of birth (YYYY_MM_DD)_Title of photo.tiff or jpg (e.g. Jennifer_Smith_1980_12_22_Sample title.jpg)
• The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the information supplied.
• The closing date for entries to the competition is 30 April 2012.
• The date of posting indicated on the franking mark applies.
• EBNER Industrieofenbau accepts no liability whatsoever for the materials submitted.
• Material submitted will not be returned.
• Each participant specifically agrees to the submitted data being saved electronically and processed, including by third parties, in the event of them winning the competition. Work published in the 3rd edition of "My brain book" will appear with the full name of the photographer.
4. JURY
• The award of the main prize, the placement and selection of photos for the exhibition will be decided by an expert jury from the arts and industry.
• The winners will be notified personally by phone or email and their names published on our website at ebnertrophy.ebner.cc.
5. EXHIBITION OPENING
• The official opening of the exhibition containing all selected photos will be announced in good time on our website at ebnertrophy.ebner.cc.
